I'm buying http://www.walmart.com/Hp-Pavilion-Pc-Bundle/ip/11038074

And need to know some recommendations for a Video card it has to be 1 card because of the lack of PCI-E slots on the mobo, I would like a higher end card nothing over $400 though.

And will need to upgrade the Power supply 875-1000wattz. (Must be PCI-E Compatable)

I want to upgrade the RAM also from the 5G Factory to the 8G Max, so pick out some good shit.

The Hard-drive and Processor is fine for now, Kind of on a budget. If anything else you see lacks in this PC comment below, I do not want to build my own PC I work too many days to have time or patience for that.

$650 for the HP isn't really worth it esepcially when your just going to upgrade the gpu and psu. I'd buy the parts and get someone to build it like a pc store.

So really your spending $1000, $650 for the pc + monitor and $400 to upgrade. You don't need 1000 watt psu btw.

I'll try and find a good setup for you. What would your limit be?

I'm guessing your not buying it online so find a pc store around you and get help. I really don't know if you want AMD or Intel, ATI or Nvidia but I'd go with Nvidia if you play games with PhysX on like Mirrors Edge, PhysX just makes it more realistic.

Just write this down or remember it, ask the store guy to help. I'm sure stores don't have everything in stock.

Monitors - look for the lowest ms and highest contrast ratio, look at the specs.
GPU - Stick with 4890 or Nvidia 200 series
PSU - Ask the guy for help
Case - Buy one that looks good for you, make sure it has at least one fan on the side for the GPU.
- Buy some case fans,

ENERMAX MAGMA UC-MA12 120mm Case Fan - Retail
$15 each, buy at least 2. One for the side and the back. Their really good and quiet!

Motherboard - This can be decided and looked for once you choose if you want AMD or Intel
RAM - Theres a wide selection to choose from, I like OCZ...going over $100 for 4gb may be too much
Hard Drive - I like Seagate but Western Digital is good as well. 500gb is more then enough..32mb cache
CPU - AMD or Intel? AMD cheaper and as good
CPU stock fan isn't that good, if you plan to overclock your CPU I recommend buying CPU fan

If a pc store you live near by and has a website let us know Wink

Canadian or American?
