I want to burn the dvds that I rent. what do i need?

A dvd burner, and dvd shrink, or another similiar program.

Nah, dvd shrink will rip it to your hd, let you switch, burn it, then delete the files it ripped. You do need like 4.5gigs of free hd space though.

get DVD-R's
and use either dvd shrink or dvdcopy or copy2dvd.
