Hi guys, OG newbie here, looking to clear some things up re. colony building. What I still don't get is how the resources are handled. Do I have to ship them across on my own? Isn't that a huge waste of time? Also, what happens to the resources that I send with a colony ship, coz it looks like they just disappeared? Thanks, and sorry for all the newbiness.

Sounds to me you've pretty much got the gist of it: Yes, you do have to ship resources manually from colony to colony as necessary, they're not automatically pooled together. It is a waste of time and resources if your planet is too far away, but if it's close, it's not so bad. And yes, whatever you sent with the colony ship is wasted. If you want to supply the colony, do it after it's started.

but u dun wanna colonize a planet to close to u because someone can find it.... and they can attack all ur planets...
