This one will have you bashing your head

3. The Dane drinks tea.
4. The green house is on the immediate left of the white house.
5. The green house`s owner drinks coffee.
6. The owner who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The owner living in the center house drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The owner who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11. The owner who keeps the horse lives next to the one who smokes Dunhill.
12. The owner who smokes Bluemasters drinks beer.
13. The German smokes Prince.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
15. The owner who smokes Blends lives next to the one who drinks water.

tasb and i used to exchange riddle puzzle type situations in game i love them!

yes this has been around longer then... well then i can remember!
haha i remember the first time i saw it i actually got out the piece of paper and pencil and drew things out made notes beside each thing used colour pencils ect haha... i dont think i ever finished it that way.
i think there was two versions the original and an evolved or *altered* one... something to that extent where wording was 'grapevined' thus changing the possibilities in two areas and screwing it up.
damn, dont make me search for this crap to explain what im talking about!

45 minutes, 2 pages, 3 very sloppy charts
but if you say the left-most house is the "first house" and work the puzzle from there:
The German keeps the fish, smokes Prince, drinks coffee, lives in the green house (4th house from left).
Puzzle really isn't that difficult, after you figure out that the Norwegian lives in the yellow house by exclusion. From there, each additional house/owner/beverage/etc. can be solved in 1-5 minutes each. Claiming to do this without a chart, though, is ridiculous.

Heh, that took me about three sheets of paper.
The thing that bugged me about it was I wasn't positive that "the first house" was the same as "the leftmost house". So I tried to do it both ways, but then I decided it was.

Also, took me about 25-30 min to finish this one, used excel to make my chart, was simple moving shit around and tagging things that i knew was deffinate and a possible to work through things.
