Umm... no. Neil Diamond wrote 'Red, red wine' back in the 60s and Marley did a cover of it as well as UB40 (but of course long after Marley did)

I can't believe that noone has mentioned 'war'. That marley song is incredible. And 'Kaya' as well as the rare 'Iron Lion Zion'. And as has been said before, 'redemption song'. There was a limited edition release of a 4 CD box set by Bob that was just increcible. They rereleased this box set with new cheesy packaging a couple years ago, so go pick it up. You won't regret it. It doesn't have the full size book like the limited edition did, but its the same music I believe. And there's an incredible medley on that box set too. And most of the played out songs on the greatest hits have remixes or are included in medleys on the box set, so even the old songs are new and different.
Oh, and there's a remake of a song by Laurel Hill I think, 'Turn Your Lights Down Low'. Great music to get all **** up to.
And in the same vein, check out Peter Tosh - Legalize It, and Findley Quaye - Sunday Shining (I think the Bob Marley original was called Sun Is Shining')
Puffing, puffing and passing,
-Nug
PS - Drugs are still bad. Don't do them.

Rat Race is good. The whole Rastaman Vibrations album kicks in fact. Matter of fact if you like reggae at all pretty much everything he ever did is damn good.
King Yellowman is even better than Marley I think.
