I'm curious about this. I've noticed a few posts on several forums this month about this also, so I thought I'd share this info.
I've seen several account bans/account closings in the last two days -My family and myself have had many closed/banned. I've had 2 banned permently (character transfer off to new account). The reason being faulse billing info- of course. And two others closed out for reasons to believe someone else was logging in that should not be. One had not been logged in for over three months...GG Bliz. Other was husbands.. same reason, but his had been stolen and he contacted blizzard and thought he had things worked out, restores ect. Origional owner on those two.
My brother got his closed, he is origional owner, recently moved across the us... maybe the ip change. I think this is a big issure with accounts now.
My other brother had his which he had traded for transfered to new account.. perma ban- faulse billing or what not. His wife had hers closed out, Origional owner on hers... nobody else ever played it. Same CC info tho..
So my question is have the rest of you had problems? If the ip change has anything to do with with most of them thats really stupid. Maybe It's a number of things.. CC info also. Who knows. I'm not going to bother to get anything notorized and sent to blizzard on my origional accounts, they can shove them up their a$$es. I paid enough out then they want to do all this for a HOBBY???
I think Blizzard has the God Complex. How much money do people pay in transfers, accounts, expansions, monthly fees. Do they think people will buy another acocunt and start over- not I.
Just a warning to you traders/buyers/sellers. Watch out.
