Actually his middle name is Forbes. Yes...that Forbes.
I don't know the details of kerry's personal finances, but from what I understand it was something like a couple million, if that, before falling into 800 million with his wife.

John Kerry's family was much wealthier. He comes from the Forbes family, after all. I think it's especially funny that he interviewed some woman who was out of work and began to cry when she said how difficult it was to support her fatherless children. Uh...he's worth 850 million dollars. Can't he spare a few? Oh that's right...charity should be forced on others via taxation.
Next time you see Kerry, ask him about his offshore accounts in the Cayman islands, too.
