For a beginner player, what is the best possible combination for a beginner fighter in this game? Which are the classes you could tag as fighter classes and what is the strongest race that can fully support those classes? And how much beginner friendly is EQ2? By this I mean how friendly this game is for a MMO beginner player in general.

There is a vast collection of races in EQ2, especially when compared to some other games. If you are unsure which race to select, maybe it is the best to stick to the classes which would be less demanding, such as humans. Barbarians are also a good selection. As for the class selection, a warrior (fighter subclass) is worthwhile to be considered.

EQ2 is very friendly to beginners. There are many in-game tutorials to get you going and the areas you start in will give you a feel for the mechanics of the game and whichever class you choose.
Having never played a MMORPG will not hinder your ability to grasp the concept of this game.
