Is the sound my computer makes after running either:

-after 3 songs on winamp or media player

- I play a video for more than 6 minutes

-i play any kind of game

- have soulseek running for more than 20 mins.

Now I know there is somthing probably overheating, but as I am not the smartest with computers and troubleshooting.

What are some things I can do to stop this insanity? Im pretty confident about operating inside my computer, but im just not sure where to start.

heplz plz

clean out like your PC like Kemble is saying. Canned air. make sure to clean out your fans regularly as these things tend to clog up over time. don't use your fingers, the oil on your skin is deadly to electronics.

after that, if you're still overheating, think about adding another fan, a new case, or a better power supply. your components might not have enough juice to keep cool, meaning the fans are running at lower speeds because the computer is drawing most of the power. if you're too cheap to upgrade, some people just remove the side panel and blow a f*****g deskfan at the processor, although this will fill your system will dust & crap so you'll need to clean it out quite a bit more often to prevent things from getting damaged.

Some friends and I used to do that to each other when we weren't looking. Leaves a wicked ice burn if you get em on the neck or back.

I knew a d*****t in High School that broke a lighter and sprayed all the liquid onto the back of his hand. Holy shit... the spot turned all kinds of nasty colors over the next week.

Get an old floppy disk that you don't use anymore. Take the insides out and replace it with a decent sized peice of sand paper. Place into floppy drive and turn pc on. Burn baby burn!
