Will killing players in the Battlegrounds automatically result in me getting more contribution points than if I kill someone on the other parts of the realm?
No. However players participating in Battlegrounds can earn honor in other ways besides killing players.
How am I supposed to play the game when every where I go someone is waiting to gank me? The graveyard is nice, but I want to see the rest of the world too!
Once Battlegrounds are released the amount of player-vs-player conflicts found around the world will most likely decrease significantly. The same goes for ganking found in the contested zones around Azeroth. Fighting in the Battlegrounds will yeild far more contribution points than fighting anywhere else. With that said, players who chose to create characters on a PvP realm are supposed to feel a sense of danger where ever they go, that is why we offer player-vs-player realms!

if youre looking for a conflict there isnt one
you dont get more points for killing other players in BG, you get points for winning.
warsong gulch= +480 pts for each flag captured by your team, and some more if you win...totalling 1660 i think
1660 points for winning...thats well above average points for a normal pvp day for most people
and you still get points for killing people

thats only 16 kills or so for me with the current pvp implementation

nerf time 
with the way they are talking they are banking battlegrounds solving alot of problems, gray ganking and all that.
my guess is, they will keep it the way it is currently for a couple of weeks
till the newness starts to wear off, then add in some bonuses

yes, but at the same time, its BONUS points...i ran a WG last nite, which ended up being a quick horde shut out (about 20 mins) and i still got like 50 or so kills on top of that
