Na, it looses some manuverability.
In a jet they are almost as easy as the helicoper to bring down.
Also, Eng. can bring them down with there gun, just lay down. I have 4 kills with it so far against air units. Not much but I just started playing.
Oh, also, any tank can rip them with the right click gun then when that over heats pop up into position 2 and get them up high with the top gun.
Once I get my new computer i'll download bf42 from faerdal's game depot thing on r00tus's ftp, and with some luck, will persuade someone into letting me use their cd key! :o
