Wow this shit is f****n badass. I watched the first 2 episodes or movies or whatever tonight and if you havn't seen this shit you should definatly go and get it. IMO It blows away any war movies including full metal jacket which I thought was awesome as well. Only thing is lol that guy from friends was so out of place. I laughed my ass off when at the begining he came walking through tryin to sound like he had authority or some shit hahaha That pansy f****r just looked so out of place.

Schimmer (sp?) gets a bad rap because he is so identified as Ross. But I think he did a good job, and if you find out more about Capt. Sobel, you'd find he did a great job of bringing that character to life.

Nice to see some other people have taste. Band of Brothers is just about the best movie/series of movie pictures on celluloid film, ever created.
Sobel was a hell of a training officer, but a d*****t in the field, which is what Schwimmer had to bring to the screen. I didn't hear him whine like Ross once. I also like Donny Wahlberg, (Donny from New Kids on the Block), he kicked ass.
They did a superb job with Episode 9.

I kept waiting for the first volume ( episodes 1 and 2 ) to come in at blockbuster, and when they finally do, my little AMC coupon thing that's supposed to be a free movie rental ends up being free with 2 other rentals... f**k!
I want to see it real bad; I remember when they first started the commercials for it, I was like " OMG that movie will kic kass! " and then it ended up being that HBO thing..

I seen it when it came on HBO it was f*****g great. Better than any war movie as well. (to me)

I bought it for christmas for my dad, he simply LOVE it, always watch it when he can.
i agree best war movie/serie by far.
