I highly doubt that.
HBO owns the series, and make some nice cash selling the dvd box set for like $60 a pop.

Band of Brothers will start showing on April 11th. I got to be on the Mail Call episode that will show before each Band of Brothers about what equipment the airborne had and medical stuff.

One of the original men that speaks on the 6th episode lives near me, talked to him one day when he found out I was a huge fan, even signed my CD Set...you can still hear the emotion in his voice when he talks about his brothers in arms. They were a tight bunch of heroes.

its true, my grandpa was in the 101st in bastogne when they were surrounded. Not in the same division/unit/platoon whatever of the guys in band of brothers though. I bought him the band of brothers dvd set but he would not watch it, he said he saw enough of it 60 years ago. Everytime he speaks about it he gets pretty emotional, my dad said its because his best friend from childhood who joined up with him died there. That would seriously suck.
