Attack Cap and Leadership Abilities?

The "Offense Enhancement" Group/raid leadership ability, does that stack with the worn Attack cap? In other words does it let you exceed that cap (250 worn atk I think)? I think each level of Offense Enhancement is Vengeance 2 for the group.

i would think so, also how are some melees goin over the capp? is there some times or aa's that bump you over?

From what i've seen 150 worn atk+ avatar proc the leadership aa's stack. I could have been off though as I only had the first level of leadership atk.

I thought 250 worn attack was the cap, although there is a ranger on eqrankings that has 1700 attack unbuffed /shrug. Buffs/songs and the offense enhancement all stack with worn attack, although I was told proc'd avatar overwrote worn attack. I'm not really sure myself as I have never had a ST weapon.
My personal best attack was 2485 with every buff possible, 220 worn attack, AA buff and bard songs.
Oh yeah and I belive both group and raid leadership AAs stack as well when in a raid obviously.

yes the attack from offense enhancement stacks on top of worn attack, also raid leadership + attack and + hps stack on top of the group leader + attack and + hps from everything we tested.

Not really.

They have a different effect than direct atk does.

ATK increases increase the to hit % and increases the chance for larger hits.
Accuracy only increases the chance to hit (and in a different fashion than atk does)
Combat Effects increases proc rate (which atk has no bearing on)
Strikethrough gives a chance to hit through defensive skills (dodge/parry/riposte/block/etc)
Cleave focus increases chance of critical melee attacks
Accuracy focus, uh, no items have other than a mined tribute link, so presumably it increases chance to hit, but there's no empirical evidence to support that.

Those are the only offensive melee time+ effects that I can think of.

Attack does not affect acuracy at all. +attck pushes your average damage towards max damage in relation to the targets AC. If your attack is vastly greater than the targets AC then you will hit near max almost all the time. If your attack is way under the targets AC then you will hit closer to min damage most of the time.

The only thing that affects acuracy is level, offense and weapon skill and possibly any class modifiers - ie being on a different combat table (ie monk or war vs knight). Also direct modifiers like + acuracy.
