I'd say Mass Effect too, Bioware games are all very detail-oriented and very immersive. Assassin's Creed is really gimmicky, repetitive missions, unlikely storyline.

Assassin's creed is a great game, though as everyone says, its repetitive. The storyline is great, based on real events and involves the knights templar. The sequel will no doubt fix the repetitive missions.
Not played Mass Effect yet. Been thinking of buying it for 360 for a while as its got great reviews, might aswell get a preowned copy and give it a go

Havent played Mass Effect because i dont own a 360 but Assassins creed is cool, atleast the bit ive played.

its a hard one since both were great games but i would have to say mass effect because assassins creed had the shittest ending to a game i have ever experianced

I own A/c and rented mass effect. A/C does get repetitive, but Mass Effect never got me hooked into it. I'd have to say A/C.

AC is repetitive, and i didnt get hooked on mass effect  so..... go buy AoC or a good mmo

They are both in their own right great games. but i was somewhat dissapointed with assassins creed. Mass Effect (if the framerate doesnt bug you too much) would be a far greater choice in my opinion.

I haven't played Mass Effect yet (waiting on the PC release), but I did purchase Assassin's Creed when it was new, and I must say...it's quite the mixed bag. The game starts out fun enough, but after completing the first real mission, it starts to get old...you essentially do the same things for every mission (spy on someone, pickpocket something, chase someone into an alley and interrogate them, etc, then assassinate your target). The actual assassinations can be pretty epic, but the majority of the game is a bit repetitive. It's by no means a bad game, it just falls victim to being overhyped before its release, and people expected it to be better than it really is.

I agree with what Grunk posted . For the first 15-30 minutes into the game i was blown away ... but after my first assassination .. it was not the same ... became a bit of routine ... and that in itself is a bit scary if i think about ... " assassinating became routine " .
