I keep getting f*****g raped by it, but cant figure out when / where /who calls taht shit.
MAKE IT STOP GDI!
PS What causes some people to show up on the radar? (Infantry Spotted!)

When you hit Q, then right-click Spotted, it gives you a list. If you see a tank, and pick tank from the list, it shows up for your allies in the correct spot. If you didn't actually see anyone and yo'ure just guessing, it shows a question mark.
Dunno what makes the whole area light up correctly though. UAV?

Artillery is used by your and their CO.
When your mini-map shows the artillery and pulses red, get the f**k out of Kansas. I'm fairly sure you'll always be able to see where your artillery is deployed, and the enemies' when your UAV is monitoring the area in which it was deployed. I might be wrong, though.
When you hear concussions, real loud ones, run. The enemy wants that node, so they're clearing house; you're being flushed out or killed. Best thing I've found is to sprint to relative safety (out of the splash damage that the art has) and give myself any kind of advantage I can, that usually being the best possible cover, grenades and suppressing fire.
But that strat probably isn't too good, since I'm a newb myself. I'm just not sure of any other ways to survive, or if buildings give cover.

Wrong. All you've got to do to spot someone (so they flash on the minimap) is get them in you're crosshairs (or center of screen, doesn't always have to be real accurate, just general area of where the enemy is) and click fire. You don't need to right click and pick the right unit to spot them. You also don't have to click on 'spotted' or whatever to actually spot the target, just make sure you aren't highlighting a different radio command.
Actually, if you right spot/right click then select a unit, you can place it anywhere (comes in handy if there is a tank right near you, but you can't get a direct line of site to spot it on the minimap).
The UAV is that circular radar screen that pops up on your minimap that goes away after like 30 secs. Only the commander can use the UAV and Artillery.

Yah I figured out that stupid ass artillery shit after playing awhile longer.
I just suck at finding people I guess. I'm always just like running along never seeing anyone and BLAMMMMM Im getting nailed.
Oh and does blowing shit up actually mean anything? I was playing special ops and I blew up a radar station (it was awesome) and I got some special ops badge and some points. But did it actually do anything to the other team where they would be like 'gdi!?!!!!/??'
