Hi, I've been reading here and there online that Fallen Earth is supposed to have this unique system that upgrades the overall technological level in the game, as the storyline advances? Like, when enough players go through the initial storyline and discover some of the technological secrets of the past, then it's time for an overhaul as these secrets get implemented, and everyone's gear sort of improves (once they install the update/expansion). Any truth to that?

Nope, It's been confirmed that it was all just rumors and/or hopeful misinterpretation. Pay it no mind. I mean, I'm sure expansions will introduce tons of new stuff for everyone, because well that's what they're meant to do, but I don't think any half-serious persistent world could be pulled through miniature evolutionary cycles with each new release. They can't afford to make a new game each time they release an expansion.
