What are your thoughts on World of Warcraft bots? Are people still using them? I think that they could be better. I play the game for some time and I do not like NPC’s. They are too stiff and could be very hard to understand. What are your thoughts about them? Are they good or bad to you? I will never understand how developers can make them better.

How can you say that bots in World of Warcraft are too stiff? They are all computer characters and they can never be as good as human players. That is why so many gamers are still using them. My thoughts of the bots are just great. It is very hard to program them to behave as humans. Developers had very though task to do that. The game is meant to be played by many human players at the same time, and the NPC’s are meant to be big help for them. You cannot tell that they are not good. Just imagine how hard is to program computer character to behave as human and to be like them.

i botted a shaman and paladin to 70 in a matter of weeks while working. Its amazingly simple and you get nearly 1,000 gold along the way. Not to mention about 100 primal lifes (thank you farming in the deadmire form 62 to 6

I dont think bots are to widely use like people think they are. Everytime someone is afk in a bg everyones saying its a bot, 90% of the time its just some retard sitting there tabbed out surfing the net, only comin back every 2 mins to hit space bar. Most bots in game are farming bots, I come accross them from time to time and always report them. But stiff?? Dont understand that, its a bot. If its farming something you need just tag targets before it and if your on a pvp server kill it.

Since the game is one big farm for items why cant people use boots since anyone who knows about WOW knows that farming is the most dullest thing about the game. from BG honor to Gold to Items for LOL flasks. at least let us use boots to take the mundane boredom away

On my server Hellscream we have 4 shamans that have the same name except a letter or two that run around doing synced dancing. I know they are using some kind of bot. Are bots against the wow terms of use? How do you make a bot?

Depends on what the bot is being used for.
I don't see any issues with someone using a bot to level, because after leveling 5 70's myself (legit). I don't think I could do that damn grind again.
But the fact that a bot can do it and still make me some cash on the side is a decent incentive.
What I do not like about the bots is if they are off selling gold. I think that is a whole different story.

Haha, Funny that... Bot's will never stop on Wow. It's the easyest way to level without doing nothing, It's that sad there are actually free bots out there. Obiously you havn't looked at Youtube, And searched Wow bots.
You get more than 200 Videos off people using bots and them using them 24/7 just to level.
It's too easy so, Yeah they are.

Hummmmm, I just found some things out... Haha i did say befor i was going to post some sites of bots for you guys so you can use them i think that was the hole point of this post in my oppion well here you have some first of i have found a video on youtube that shows you what the bot does and then the website where you can get it if you want me to please post me a PM and ill make a tutorial on how to use it or if you dont want me to then just leve me alone hahha

There are certain honor bots that I never personally used but still know of.
Farming honor is pretty easy through Pir0x.
Hasn't been updated in a while though

Bot's are very widely used imo. I used one,but couldn't get the hang of it after a few levels. I got up to level 24 with the bot,but it got boring to think "I aint done none of this"

I wish i had a bot to farm when i hit 70! farming honor on the alliance side is the most ridiculous thing. For all of you who have alliance characters you all know what i mean. Alliance cant win AB, WSG, or Eots if their life depended on it, unless of course you get really lucky or its a premade.

I see bots every once in awhile but not to many.

lol ive seen VERY smart bots, they can move/ farm by them selves and they can respond to whispers and such, some of them are pretty impressive.

I've only heard of people I know getting banned for using bots lately. Even thoguh none of them actually used bots. Kind of ironic.

I used to use a bot. I was able to level up my toon from 1-70 in about 2-3 weeks realtime on and off. Would have gone faster if I was around to monitor it more.

I used to use glider but have stopped. It works great and doesnt get banned, but its just too much work lol.

yes, people use them, mostly in bgs.
yes it sucks to have to carry their leeching asses on the shoulders of real players.
no there isnt much we can do about it.(except report afk)

Several friends of mine use fishing bots... however I would advice against it... I have seen several accounts perma-banned over it
