What do you think about monks for a new gamer to play in Final Fantasy XI? Are they too expensive? I have seen this game, and I like it very much. I have set my opinion on monk, but I do not if it the right class for me. Can someone help me with my pick, or must I play the game and see for myself if I picked correctly.

Final Fantasy XI is first-class game, both for beginner and veterans. If you want to start to play it, just look around the internet and find what classes of characters you can choose. Then, pick one you like the best, and learn more about it. When you have read the entire encyclopedia about the character class, just pick it in the game, fine-tune it to your liking and design your character in the unique way. Monks are excellent pick. They can be expensive, but not too much. You will have much fun playing the game.
