Last year all I heard about was WoW this, EQ2 that. Now that those are out and didn't live up to expectations, are there any upcoming MMORPG's that look promising?
I saw the Vanguard post, anything else?

Vanguard's pretty much the only upcoming MMORPG that I know of that's worth trying.
City of Villains coming out soon too, probably not worth playing though.
The next big game I'm waiting for is Quake 4.

Im in the City of Villains beta. If you enjoyed CoH you will definetly like it. They added a bunch of new shit to make leveling more enjoyable. Which was honestly the biggest problem in CoH

Man I can't wait for Quake 4 
It along with QuakeWars will shut the nay sayers up about the Doom3 Engine. Plus if you went to QuakeCon you already realize how bad ass the multiplayer is (if competition deathmatch/ctf is your thing).

Also other then Quake4 and the MMOs being released, Call of Duty 2, the "more then likely" shittastic BF2 expansion, and Half-Life2: Aftermath (and DoD:Source) are the only things coming out on PC that worth keeping an eye on.

Oh NFS: Most Wanted may be good.
There isn't many good racing games being released on the PC anymore :\ Flight Sims are damn near becoming non existent aswell.
