I know using XP's uninstaller leaves behind all kinds of shit. Anyone use a 3rd part uninstaller that wont f**k up your system?

I agree with you either way, frequent formats are the only way to rid oneself of the cruft that tends to accumulate.

I use "Advanced Uninstaller Pro" - more so because it also has a registry cleaner, allows me to stop programs from starting when I boot up and clears temporary files. (both windows as well as IE/Firefox - I was surprised how it almost cleared 1gb the first time I ran it)
No idea if it's really better than the windows uninstaller, or how I could verify that - but I grabbed it off a newsgroup, so I suppose it can't hurt
