I duno but im quite happy with my 17 inch that came with my comp. I do need a second monitor tho for when I get my TV card.

I paid (well work paid for it, but I ordered it) $1200 for the flatscreen I have on my desk here (21" Samsung) so compared to that $689 is a smokin deal. Still a lot for a monitor though.

I have 2 of those Dell 20.1s at work, but I don't think I'd pay $700 for a monitor @ home nowadays. It is a good deal compared to buying one normally tho.

its alot for a crt monitor, its not alot for a lcd monitor, saying 700 is alot for a monitor is like saying 50k is alot for a car when the car you can get for half that is a toyota and the one thats 50k is a porsche, cant really compare them unless your going for function only and dont give a shit about preformance or style..........

Porsches aren't 50k, unless you mean the Boxster...which would in turn mean you still don't give a shit about performance or style.
