I've basically made a 3D model, textured it, and naturally UV mapped it.
The problem is that it was modelled in Milkshape3D and needs to be exported to NetImmerse format, the only availible NetImmerse exporter is for 3D Studio Max 4+, when I export the model from Milkshape to 3DS format it allows me to theoretically save the UV coords and materials, but it doesn't work. So when I import the file into 3DSM, it has no materials.
I've opened 3DSM like four times in the past five months, two of those were today, that's pretty much the extent of my familiarity with Max.
Unfortunately I've put too much effort into the project to simply flush it so if anyone has any useful tutorials for unwrapping low poly static objects in Max 5, I'd be extremely grateful.
