wasn't there some kind of fad that went along with this in the late 90's? They had those little pocket controler things and you had a pet you kept alive in it or something in relation.

Yeah but this isn't the same. I think my little brother mentioned something about it one day when I went to visit him and my parents.
Apparently it is like pokemon, in the fact that it is getting big, fast. There is like a tv show or some shit, dolls and crap in stores and trading cards.
