I am so unbelievably bored with WOW right now. I pretty much only log in to raid now. As a Rogue MC makes me want to stick a hot poker in my eye. (f**k Blizzard and their AE trash mobs)
Pretty much my only fun I have now is killing Onyxia once a week. (that fight is just plain fun)
Hell, I have even started playing EQ2 in my spare time.

Hey Dyers how have you been? I'm not ready to jump ship just yet on WOW. I really like the guild I am in and have a blast raiding with them. I just wish there was more to do in the game. Were sitting outside Onyxia's lair right now waiting for a GM to fix her bugged under the world ass.
I just wish that Blizzard didn't have their heads so far up their asses when it came to fixing issues and releasing patches.

I started off as a Mage. Took it to 60 HATED Mage in the end game and I rerolled to Rogue. Rogue is a fun class, it just sucks ass in MC because every God Damn mob AEs. There are whole boss fights where I am using a frigging bow. (or I just say f**k it and afk)
I tried Hunter for a bit but I didn't like it really. I kinda wish I had gone Hunter now that were clearing MC on a regular basis. Because Rogues in MC are the ultimate pain.

its like a 55-60 instance, dire maul i believe, sounds like another brd.
WoW raid content failed miserably, I am not really done with MMO's I dont think, but man, WoW and EQ2 sucked.

And being on a PvP server is supposed to alliveate the bordom? Still boring as shit. So you get to break up the bordom from time to time by going out and raiding a lag infested city or maybe ganking a bunch of noobs.. In the end they are back with in minutes with no real fear of death..

seems more like a lbrs zone to me, and im sure it wil have maraudon type loot so everything from strath/scholo/brs will be useless.
Onxyia is pretty fun though. Im not a huge fan of MC but thats because we havent taken more then 25 each time we have been there.

Been taking my time man. Still only lvl 54 and I enjoy the PvP but not done any raids yet so I have no idea what the end game is about. I see, by others posts, it is better that way.

Try out a PvP server. It's not just fun, it's thrilling. At least for me. I love having to run for my life, only to come back 15 or 30 minutes later and get my revenge. Can't exactly do that in PvE. In PvE you always win... eventually.

Pfft, I have enough trouble motivating myself enough to login to farm shit for our once a week Onyxia kill. Honestly, when were not raiding I am not logged into wow. I got tired of sitting at the IF bank chatting, so I just stopped logging in other than raids.
I can't believe how badly Blizzard is f*****g this game over right now.

I haven't even done an onyxia or MC run yet with my rogue and I'm already hating it.
Bayard, is there anything you can do to slow the pain of those AoEs in MC? Crusader or Lifestealing enchants? Tons of resist gear? I'm wondering if I should just reroll now lol.

Most of the AOEs on trash mobs are AE melee damage so there is no way to avoid it. Let's give a couple examples here.
Lava Surgers: These are rock elementals that randomly surge from one side of your raid to the other. Everytime they surge they AE for 1000 melee damage. There is nothing you can do about it.
Molten Destroyers: These are giants with knockdown and they AE melee so God damn much that all rogues in my guild stand out of the fight and use bows or just go afk during the fights.
Molten Giants: These giants AE Melee stomp so even if you are not taking agro you are still getting hit constantly.
Firelords/spawns: These aren't too bad unless you get hit by their 4000hp DOT.
Lava Annihlators: These aren't bad either unless you draw agro. Just slow and steady damage on these they tend to move around a lot too so just be careful how much damage you are pumping out.
Core Hounds: These have several AE attacks which do anything from half INT/SPI/HPs to 50% Melee speed and Casting speed. They also have a Fire breath that somehow even though you are standing behind them you can still get hit by it. (Rossie loves to leave 50% melee speed reduction on me)
Basiclly all I can say about MC is like anywhere else STA on all your gear is your best friend. That and make sure you have plenty of Band-aids / pots. Although MC is a compete pain in the ass from a Rogues standpoint, you can avoid dying in most cases by playing it smart, watching your priest's mana pool and backing out if you are getting your ass beat down.

Haha, that was funny.
I'm a priest and hate healing rogues in MC, simply because im having to heal the MT quite often and the fights can be long, and sometimes 2 destroyers at once which uses a shit load of mana. Rogues copping the AE lose about 1/3-1/4 of their health and as they dont have all that many hp and in mail can go down quick, so only way to keep em healed really is flash heal, anything bigger is wasted and takes me away longer from healing mt.
I just thought it was a good idea that day to not dispell the 50% slow on Bayard. To be honest i forgot about it after a while, no idea how long you had it on for haha
