Are there going to be, like sequels and all that? Like FF XII, FF XIII, (FF, um, XIIII, no, wait, FF IV, that's better)
Or are they going to stick with this title, because it's so enormously popular, and just build on it, releasing expansions, and movies, and whatnot, just milking it for all it's worth?

Heh, well, while the second approach you delineate there would be the obvious choice for most MMO games that hit gold (just stick with it till it runs out of steam), I don't think that's the case with FF.
See, the Final Fantasy series in general is already a hugely successful franchise. FF XI specifically doesn't stand out so much, even though it's very successful as an MMO.
