If I can play Final Fantasy XI for free I would be the happiest person in the world. I am not sure this will be the case, but I don't loose anything if I ask around about this possibility. Any free server for Final Fantasy XI? Or is there any other way for playing this game?

When I was asking the same question I was told there is no way you can play this game for free. After I bought a whole year subscription I was told that the previous info was not correct and there was a possibility of playing this game for free for a while and there was also a possibility to use your free trial account once you decide to go serious with this game. I was not asking about details then, because I was already a subscriber, but this is enough for you to know that there is a possibility for something like this. I am sure somebody else can explain this in the details.
