Wow has brought a shit load of problems with scamming. I too have been scammed, we all have been scammed. So what to do now? I have a few ways to be scam proof, but, must be followed.
First, mail a simple coin like a penny and have thm sign for it so if they recall their money on paypal you can show them you sent the item and give them the tracking number. When i say sell, all sales are final.
do a phone convo with the person.(its a good tip)
I also have a lot more but since wow is about to come on i will stop here. Feel free to pm me if you wish to have further knowledge.

If you're selling an account or items through paypal, you can prevent the buyer reversing the charges by making him send the money first, then filing a complaint, then cancelling the complaint saying the trade has went smoothly, this will prevent people filing a claim saying they're item has not been delivered and you in the process losing your account/items.

does it help to deal with only verified paypal members or can they still reverse their charges and s***w me over? actually is there anyway the seller can protect themselves from the buyer reversing the funds claiming the seller never gave them the item? i remember paypal's policy states that wow items/accounts aren't deemed "real"... what are we suppose to do?

well the simple way not to get scammed is to look at tell-tale signs.. and altogether to have common sense about whether you think that the person is genuine or not.

I was almost scammed by someone, they led me to a website asking if i could log my username and password to see if my account was compatible with the "TK" edition. Almost fell for it, Im sure many have...

Its a pretty good idea to have them sign for a coin like that.
