How the f*****g f**k can the people who made that pile of shit even think that it will have any success?
Why make a R rated movie when the classic one would get a 18+ rate today?
Are they just plain stupid or do they just have millions to waste?
The original Dawn of the Dead movie was and is still by far the best zombies movie ever made...and this remake is just a pure insult to the genious of its original maker.
Wont be any blood...we wont see anyone be eated alive...so whats the point?
Why..just why..............
Why try to have 13 years old and such see this movie when none of them ever seen the original one...why not concentrate on all those who actually seen it?
This is what happen when Americans put their hands on classics....

Wrong, this is what happens when censorship takes over. I would love to see all the blood and violence of the old classic in the newer version. I say put it all into the film and make it MA!!!

I know Doc,
But horror movies really suck now...Hell I dont want to see a movie that talk about people that got eated...or hear it in the movie on radio or TV WTF I want to see it happen...
Bet all we will see is..OMG zombies just jumped on this guy...oops change of screen hes dead.

When I stopped posting on realpoor for a while it was good to know that some things wouldnt ever change. Such as Maelstrom b******g about everything. Nothing is to small for him to cry about, its quite amazing.

They make more money with a lower movie rating, because more people can attend the movie.
If the movie were MA rated, then the kids wouldn't be able to attend...come to think of it, that would be a nice change...without the newbies spoiling the film.

I think it is also important for zombie movies to be outlandish and comical.
and zombies should definitly follow the following criteria
1) no talking
2) no fast movement
3) mass quanities
4) no smarts
- also , what ever happened with that zombie nazi movie, did it come out yet. Worst case sceanario or somthing

The remake is very well done. A friend of mine that is a huge movie buff was able to see an early screening of this movie, and he said it was awesome. It won't ruin the original movie like most remakes do.

Actually, why can't zombies run? They can at least shamble quickly depending on their state of decay.
My zombies
-------------
Move as fast as their bodies let them
Have twisted memories of their former lives, but are malevolent
Try to speak through whatever rotten vocal cords they have
Kill people, but don't eat brains or whatever
Head still lives after severed. Body dies
Or how about this? The zombies rise from the grave and simply go home. They have no real thinking, but instinctively head back to their former abodes or look for loved ones. They just follow them around, not doing harm, but always being there. That would be a little disconcerting =)

What I wanna find out is how bad they alter the story from the oringal....
Well, not exactly the story per say. There really wasn't a story in the oringal, ppl flying around in a helicopter seeking refuge from the mass of zombies, in a shopping mall. Never explained how the zombies came to be for sure.
Anyways there are like 10 ppl in this new Dawn of the Dead, and in the older one, there was only like 4 excluding the bandits. Now how the f**k they going to work with that =/ And the baby actually being born in the mall? wtf? The chick in the first never had the baby. They got outta there before she did.
I hope I don't waste another 8 bucks on something my ass could of written better drunk =/

It's all about atmosphere, not loud noises. People seem to be confused as to why "The Sixth Sense" was scary, but "The Ring" wasn't.

28 days later was sooo f*****g nice at the start....but as soon that they meet the soldiers..it all turned into a pile of crap..of course the main idea of the film was to explain the mentality of humans..but it could have been done in a much better way.
