Did anyone else feel like they were reading the same f*****g book?

It's like an Indiana Jones movie. They're great fun to watch but it's the same premise everytime, only with a different chick love interest.

I liked the Da Vinci code better, Angels and Demons seemed like a rough draft of the Da Vinci code imo. I like his style tho, I didn't care much for his other books =/

I just finished "Tuesdays with Morrie" and "The life of Pi", both okay books too. At this point I'd like to read "5 people you meet in heaven", but they're only available in hard cover, and $30 for a less then 200 pages is a bit expensive

Brown refined his writing skills with The Da Vinci Code. Angels & Demons was a complete let down and the ending just ruined everything.

I saw Jesus reading the Da Vinci code in the park yesterday. He said he liked it.

If you think this don't read any of his other books. It's the same f*****g formula everytime. I liked the beginning of Angels and Demons. The part about anti-matter I thought was really cool, and I was hoping it would focus more on the science/theory behind that.

The ending with the helicopter totally ruined the book for me, though. I did like the final speech of the priest guy about faith, though.

I read Digital Fortress, and once again, same f*****g formula. Totally killed the impact that The Da Vinci Code had on me, and I no longer recommend it to others.

I might read it anyways, I didn't think his writing was bad per se, I just got the same feeling I had when watching an Indiana Jones movie. After the first 2 you pretty much know how they're all going to progress. The nick-of-time revelations and the hot female accomplices who are somehow impossibly interrelated to the main plot and the savior/mentor-turned-traitor are pretty predictable.

Anyways, I liked Angels and Demons better than the Da Vinci Code, I liked Deception point until the last like 20 pages when it felt like I just got plot puree vomited in my face. I just picked Digital Fortress up tonight, haven't started reading it yet (working on The Two Georges by Harry Turtledove and The Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene atm).

The Da Vinci Code has the better hook for the uninitiated imo, but ultimately I liked Angels and Demons better.

Without citizinship/full time student visa I can't get a library card here =( Digital Fortress was a total let down for me, it was so promising, and then ... well, you'll see =)

That's s****y, all you need for a library card here is a drivers license saying you live in our city and a piece of mail with the same name and address.

Kafka, "Description of a Struggle"--read it.

Camus has a saying about Kafka, one that pertains to those who've read Kafka. Google it after the reading is done.
