The point of patching online games is to add more quests, more items and to fix small issues about the game. In every patch, you have a set numbers of those, so the players can continue to play the game. Just imagine if you did not patch the game, and once you finish all the quests, what will you do next? Just stand in one place and do nothing? Therefore, just download the patch, install it, and continue to play the game. Anarchy Online is well worth of effort and time.
