Is Anarchy Online Instanced or not? I had some bad experience with instancing in the past and with some other games and that is why I am asking this question. I prefer games with out instancing and I hope Anarchy Online is one of those games. I don't get how instancing can improve any game, but who cares.

Anarchy Online is instanced and this is something that is giving a huge plus to any game. This means that the game is so populated that you need instancing in order to keep servers from overcrowding. I don't know why you had problems before but this should not make you feel hostile to instancing. Instancing is here to make out game life easier and you would have so many more problems without it. This is the reason why instancing is great and you should not talk bad about it and if there is no instancing in some game, then that game is not promising at all.

not all dungeons are instanced... ie Camelot. the whole server is just fighting for 1 big chicken + its a pvp dungeon... so the winning fraction gets the phats
