Anarchy Online Implant building

So, um, I'm kind of flabbergasted with all this. Let's say, theoretically, that I'm trying to create an implant (I'm not ATM), and let's also say that I've got the Nano Prog skill high enough (which I don't) for what I'm trying to do. Now, let's say, hypothetically, that I stuck a low QL cluster into a much higher QL implant … what would happen? The game would accept it, right, but how would it function? Would I be able to remove it somehow?

LOL! Well, all hypothetically, of course, you'd be FUBAR. The implant would work at the diminished level, so a high QL cluster would be wasted in it, because it would perform as if it (the implant) was also that QL. Hate to break it to you, but you just wasted some creds. Hypothetically, of course.
