Is there one to be found, someplace? I've been looking and looking, but all I've come up were forum threads that derailed into flame wars before anything useful was written, and a few others mostly unreadable by someone not !00% familiar with the lingo. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

I mean yes, it's got 6 pages of discussions behind it, but that's actually a good thing – the author took the comments in, reconsidered what he wrote, and did some editing.
As for the jargon – you either speak it or you don't, and god luck finding your way around if you don't!
