I'll be really surprised if 1-2 guilds don't step up and accept this challenge by tomorrow. Obviously, it's something that the guild(s) leadership would have to discuss.
But to have such an arrogant proposal (challenging the best of the rest) posted on the server board and have NO TAKERS will be a slap in the face to every other guild on the server. There is no experience loss in a Guild War. You will only be losing your time for the event. And I'll wager 5,000pp that you'll enjoy the guild war MUCH more than your current raid agenda.
I will gladly serve as the Bookie for this event:
72 ED'ers versus 72 Yet Unnamed Heroes
Current Odds: ED even, Challenger 2:1 Bookie fee on losers is 10%.

Since he knows TA doesnt have the balls to accept a guildwar, he had to challenege the whole server.
Now for a guildwar it should b ED vs TA /w NUMI SA and CoS
or maybe ED +numi VS TA + SA + COS + MoKB+ whoever!
ED vs whole god damn server, the more the merrier
ps ED is bored ! so ask for whatever! a elemental loot for each time u pk naz! troj will give a rune spell for each time hes killed ^^

Could be fun. A long, long time ago we did a Pak vs. HoA guildwar like this in Lesser Feydark. We did it one afternoon, and it was a capture the flag type event. (much funner then a constant gank fest.. needs to have a goal so you can work as a guild toward that goal).
Equipment and AA are certainly important, but I don't think immensely so. I'd imagine, for example, ED's high end Paladins are packing 9,000 hp with 300 AA. My 7,900 hp and 150 AA is a fairly far cry from that. Examples like that could go on ad infinitum.
If, however, there was an actual test of teamwork and skill, it could be quite fun. I'm sure ED is good at that as well, but would make equipment and AA less important.
We'll see...

The last serverwise guildwar was hella fun. It's a shame peeps are too worried about losing their spawns and loot these days to take time out for a bit of PvP fun - even if EQ PvP is a bit of a joke.
I hope you get a good response Naz.
Having good gear does make a difference in PvP, just like it makes a difference in PvE. But I think player skill can close the gap in PvP more so than PvE.
Although, a 3k hp necro with < 100 in all resists by all rights should get owned by a 4k necro with > 200 in all resists. No amount of skill is going to get that spell to stick any easier.

Staying back and trying to gank fire/water shit when were busy isnt going to work either since even if by some rather large miracle you managed to kill something it would still goto the cyberers

might be fighting words, too bad they lack the testicular fortitude (read: TA HAS NO BALLS!) to accept the challenge, even in the name of fun =/
hell, even back when the "test of toys" was around, MoKB was the only guild to even front a force to pit against ED and Roughnecks (ED 2.0). i was in KB at the time and we had an absolute blast. we won the first round against Rednecks (like a full group i believe it was, didnt evne log in, leaving it 18 KB vs 12 roughnecks it hink ti was. second round, the ED tag group kicked our asses, but we went down in a blase of glory, kickin and screamin like we had a purpose lol.
*while im on the subject, /rude themy for trushotting me in the ToT, f****r! hehe*
