Ya Brash, ralac did steal my gear like 2 years ago. Not sure if this is the same ralac since he has been whored around since then. The guy that stole it posted under name of Dwiddle or something for awhile.

I hope it's not the same guy because I'm friends with both of you and I wouldn't be friends with someone who f****d over a friend of mine or anyone in that manner :/ It doesn't sound like something he would do, I know he traded his account before but he never mentioned clev's accnt to me.

I know it wasnt the orignal Ralac. There has been like 300000 owners of him, and it was when i was lvl 57 or so and that was like 2 + years ago i am pretty sure.

On the few occasions I did play DAoC (yay for a free month!), I didn't get jacked by one person.
I'd kinda like to think if it were a PvP game, just maybe somebody would've attacked me!

I'll join a "made" team to participate in this. Sounds fun to me. And like Volx I'm sure more than a few people would love to kill me. I don't think Awakened leaders are planning on making this a guild event (at least I've seen nothing posted to that nature) so if we are allowed to make our own teams, I'm in.

Hell, if we're just doing a day of fun thing i'm sure their would also be 1v1's to just have fun with. But as I can't seem to find enough support to create my own team, i'd also be willing to join a team if someone wants a bard ^_^.

Well, this has been given a reasonable amount of time and no guild can or will step forward to the challange. so.... we go to plan 2.
We have some interest here, for a war day type event. some ideas include a capture the flag style event. (i.e. gank player X and you win) or a zone control event, where you have to eliminate all of the enemies forces.
I am looking at 2 ED members to be "captains" of the two teams. They would pick their team from those who want to participate, etc. This would change it from a guild vs guild, to a team vs team, since the guilds would be split up.
Please post any ideas if you have some to try to make this event happen. We can probably get one of the Guides to help out as well, if we wanted.
questions for the fight.
What is the best objective/goal?
What type of prize, if any should be offered?
Can we fill two full teams of 72 people?
If we can make this work, I will follow up with a time and place, as well as email for the 2 captains so you can commit. We will probably have some type of entry fee, to prevent idiots from signing up then not showing. Not a crazy amount, but a little pocket change to "penalize" the people who sign up, but dont show up.

Off raid time = time to fill RL obligations. Plus, EQ offers one of the worst PvP content/balance and some sub par network code which would basically render a huge event like this a contest of computer and connection technology.
I salute the effort, but it's not worth logging an extra 5h for this imo. I wouldn't say I'm the spokeperson of my guildmate, but I know many of them will prefer to take care of their children or do some chores around the house that need to be done instead of wasting 5h of lagness just for a chance to say "~~~OMG I FRAGGED ASHWYND KTHXPLZ!~~!!~~"

Yea, i died cause malo's psalm of veeshan overwrote mine which is f*****g stupid cause mine gives like 120+ more to resists... oh well. You got lucky

Common Sense Yes - Knowing how to place your class.
You match 2 65 rogues up against eachother with the Exact same Loot/hp/ac its totally random who will win.
Although i believe there is no skill envolved you can still have a fun day in karana f*****g shit up. Oh and if i was you =p try and get on Troj's team =p
