Tonight, AMC, 8pm

Yea, it will be annoying as hell cause it is one of those "movies at my house" presentations, but if you have not seen this movie, you are missing a great film.

Great cars--(all American classics, thx)
Great young unknown actors/actresses that are VERY famous now.
Great director--George Lucas
Great soundtrack.

I just bought the movie on DVD last week, the Directors cut edition.
its hands down my favorite era movie of all time.

I so relate to Milner talking about how the street racing has changed and the best part of the movie is the connection to John when walking through the Bone yard. classic

I had a moment like that a few weeks ago when walking through a old junkyard that the state took over from some sick old man.
The junkyard is kinda hidden in a very woody part of Ct. theres trees growing through the cars and its all over grown for many years.
But theres 100's of all kinds of cars from the 30's to about the 70's! Im talking Big block 68 camaros, 502 caddys late 60's GTOs its amazing, its to bad there all rotted to nothing, but its still Wild.

I know everyone here talks themselves up big and whatnot but One thing I can honestly say is that I was call the John Milner of the 80's by a lot of people in my area when I was doing a lot of street racing I retired the car from street racing in 1992 and still was the fastest car in Town.

That movie based in 1963 is the same thing I experenced in 1989.

I also have that version as well as some other special version that was released a few years ago.

American muscle cars > all in their heyday. I know many here prefer foreign cars, but it is rather hard to deny they ruled prior to the late 70s....

I say that, having owned a 52 BelAir (ok not race vehicle, but still fun!) 71 Chevelle SS, three Corvettes (66, 71, 92ZR1) and having a brother that still races his 72 Lemans...

Was harrison Ford in it? I do remember a lot of famous faces though.
His debut was in Star Wars I think. He was a carpenter on the set who stood in to read someone's lines for Han Solo.

AG was 5 years before Star Wars and was more or less his big-time debut, he only had what amounted to extra roles before then.
