just remember you need to get 30 on your whm before you can do bard quest, but bard quest is way easy

Brd's are teh Pwn. I grouped with one last night, gave casters Mana Regen and 1 other song. Runs to melee, gives them Acc + and Attack rate ^^
Thx 4-5k exp per hour

Resist Silence 5 Increased resistance to silence.
Resist Silence 25 Increased resistance to silence.
Resist Silence 45 Increased resistance to silence.
Soul Voice 1 2 Hours 3 Minute Increases the effectiveness of songs.
I mean..traits and abilities dont define a class =(

Still go white mage. Just so you can get to 30 pritty easly.
Some dude was a dark knight main, white mage sub and he was good. Grouped with him
Red mages are sick too dude.

err yes they do
RDM - fast cast/convert
PLD - 3x defense bonus
NIN - dual wield
WAR - provoke
etc....

BRD's are awesome as a main class, I don't imagine they'd be as effective as a sub as they get their songs limited. WHM pwns though, people have been paying me 1k to raise them and i'm all about this. I don't even ask, but two people have already given me 1k to raise them ^^. Granted I paid 5.5k for the spell, but it's not bad since i've already almost made it back the first day just using raise alone.

which is why I would stay away from one. I think FFXI's prime is in it's grouping state personally.
