My all-time favorite superhero would have to be Superman, he was always the BA when I was a kid. I dressed up as him I think 3 years in a row as a child. Ahhh, I still watch the cartoon everynow and then. He always managed to find a way to get past his weakness of kyptonite, and the ALWAYS faced his fears, after all, that's what a true hero is. Someone unafraid to face their fears and put themselves in the way of danger to protect the weak.

Shatterstar use to be my favorite as a kid. Thought he looked like some kind of badass samurai super hero.

you know whats annoying? i keep spelling superhero as superhore on accident, somehow its easier to type o_O

I do not see how you had a hero named seizure man. More likely it was Barney and your too humiliated to say.
For me it was Underdog and Gigantor as a kid. I think Gigantor was the 4th or 5th anime cartoon released from Japan,even though it was black and white. Was created at the beginning of the 60's. I am no Anime fan,but I find it wild to see how 4-5 cheesy black and white cartoon spawned an entire culture of art/cartoon fans, especially when the strongest influence on them was Disney

A hero is usually someone you idolize at age 4-6. But, I think your going on humor rather than the concept of a hero. Your post, your choice, I will just drop it
