Its official. NCsoft released a closed beta version of Aion in Korea on the 31st of July. Does this mean well have to wait more? I hoped that theyd release beta version for the whole world simultaneously. So, when we can expect our share of testing and where and how to apply for beta? At least I hope that well be able to see screenshots soon.

Thats correct. This month the game is in its closed beta stage and is being tested in Korea. I think its not possible for the company to release beta in the whole world simultaneously because they also have to test servers and imagine what would happen if they couldnt support so many people online at the same time. Thats why it has to be gradually. Usually, it is a practice to apply for the closed beta stage when pre-ordering your copy of a game and thats how they chose people who participate in the early stages. So, if you havent pre-ordered the game, its high time you did it and youll have the opportunity to be one of the chosen test gamers.
