Looks like a solid game and i plan to try it out.
Any tips or advice on what to do or what class is the most op?

its still new, alot of bugs to be fixed and content to be added. but at least its better then the repititive pve of wow

I don't play but I know a handful of people that are hardcore WoW raiders have been playing this in their off-time and they love it. The main thing I've noticed is that unless you have a great computer, the game is going to suck. That may have changed some since the last patch included graphics and lag fixes.

Age of conan sold over 700,000 copies on release day.
Warhammer will probably take alot of the wow players tho

It's fun till you get to 80. There is like barely any end-game content and the stuff that is in there... broken as hell.

I don't want to read to much here and have it get spoied but I have been looking foward to this game for over a year, and as soon as I get a decent rig im gonna buy it. The only things that look more appealing are sc2 and d3.

Not a huge fan of AoC, from lvl 1-30 it feels like playing Oblivion, but after that the quests run dry and it becomes a boring grind. The night quests are really cool but the day ones are kind of silly/ stereotypical. The classes are also unbalanced and pvp is somewhat gimped because other players can escape fairly easily.

But you gotta learn to play your class so you can prevent that from happening. There is always a way to stop people from getting away.

Good until you get into it....
its horrible.. Funcom failed like usual they had a awesome game on their hands and now they made about 3 million promises.. and they havent even near completed whats specified on the box... Such as PvP content by end of June... Still nada

The game is nothing but a ploy to get you to buy the game and play for a bit. The first 20 levels are the only fun that you are going to have anywhere in the game. Everything is instanced. The towns are progressively turning into ghost towns. There is a complete lack of content after level 50. The game was rushed into release and it was crippling.

Level 1-30 are awesome
Beyond that it becomes Complete trash.
Id say give it a year to fix Glitches and add more content, Allow them time to choose what 'endgame' is really going to be.

AOC is fun for the first 20 levels, and then once you're out of Tourtage, it loses it's touch

Got a 80 barbarian, at least for me as a barbarian the game is total b******t. Classes unbalanced as hell. Abilities not functioning aren't getting fixed etc etc.
Too good gfx tbh, high demands to computers. Combo system SUCKS, everything takes way too long, and when u've typed in the combo the animation takes forever aswell
They have a lot of work to do, and now as WAR is out, AoC is pretty much a dead game

I've been playing for a while and I have a lvl 80 assassin, there's good times and bad times. I play in a pvp server and I think that the game is good though needing some improvement. You get what you put into it. The battle system is in its early stages and if you're a good gamer who makes use of strafing, dodging and the shield system you can do real well in a pvp fight. Of course there's lots of ganking going on with that last patch but if you're a good sport you just make a pvp party and attack without prejudice.

Age of Conan = not bad at all. The only prob is that they has alots of bugs around, but they will fix them sooner or later. For men that wants a very realistic game.
