Hi! On December 12th, 2006, developer of the game Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures announced that game will be developed both for Windows Vista and X Box 360. I was wondering, will it be possible in that situation for some Vista user to play on some server with X Box user, the same game on same level, just like in Pc-to-Pc online games?

I heard from a friend that X Box version will have single player and multiplayer modes, and new feature of multiplatform playing, so players on Windows Vista PC platform can fight with players on X BOX.

I dont see why they could not exist on the same server. I think that would be the best way.

I think the issue with Xbox 360 and PC on the same server is controls.
Lets put it this way, would you want to play COD4 against somebody with a KB + Mouse while you're on a controller? (You may answer yes to this for all I know.)
I think most people have a problem with the both sides.. Some people complain controllers will have all the advantage, some complain KB + MOUSE will... I still say same servers, so the xbox people actually have people to play with!

No, Age of Conan will not be a cross-platform game.
because of advantages/disadvantages that may occur.
My idea is that should have a Cross Platform server.

Wow, you guys are dumb. Have you not heard of Final Fantasy XI which is cross-platform? Yes, the computer can have some advantages with UIs but who really cares? It's fun playing with your buddies that don't all have the same system. This is not a new concept so whoever said 'new feature', it already exists. As for me, I'll play it on PC until the release for X360 and then switch to it. I read somewhere, don't quote me, that they may make Xbox360 Servers, Xbox360-PC Servers, and PC Servers. I would definitely play in the Xbox360-PC Server. The more the merrier.
