Hello! I know that there is no official information about system requirements for the Age of Conan, but I still wonder if anyone knows more about this… Basically, I need to know if I have to upgrade my computer to run AOC… I have a Barton processor (SocketA, 2600+) and a gig of ram. All with Nvidia 6600. Is this enough?

I think that you’ll have to upgrade your computer, you’ll have to change your processor and mobo (because of processor). It’s all because your processor most likely won’t be powerful enough – the developers say a 3 gig processor is a minimum recommended. Even not of the latest generation, your gpu should be good enough to run the game

memory, and graphic card is most important.
If you want to play to a beautiful games buy a new pc :p
AoC is very cute but need a big pc :p

Official Website
Minimum System requirements
* OS: Windows XP / Windows Vista
* GFX: Shader 2.0 and 128MB ram, GeForce 6600
* RAM: 1GB
* CPU: 3 GHz, Pentium 4
* Resolution: 1024x768
* Recommended Specs:
* CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2,4 GHz or better
* GFX: nVidia GeForce 7900 GTX or higher
* RAM: 2 GB
However!, I experienced a few things:
A) NVidia & Intel vs AMD & ATI
Nvidia and Intel cpu just works better, there is a lack of support in the game, and if you have those systems, your game just wont run properly.
B) If you want to run this game without "graphic spikes" you need 4GB of ram, and 8800GTS+, I recommend 9800GTX as you can run high settings with 40fps+ (city) 60fps+ (outside), and is really good in pvp

You're gonna need at LEAST a 7 series Nvidia card, and at LEAST 2 gigs of RAM to play this game, and I wouldn't recommend anything less than a Dual Core processor.
Recommended settings are steep as hell.

Its brutal too because the ingame performance is very poorly optimized atm. Hard to judge what reqs are really going to be like.
