Is magic important in Age of Conan? The game is so good looking I want to play it. I have seen numerous in-game videos, read several reviews and heard from many players that the game is fantastic. I am interested in classes that use magic. I just love the spell casting and everything about it. Age of Conan must have at least one magic class. I will be very disappointed if it does not.

Yes, it has “magic classes”. Magic elements are very important to the game. The magic system is fully functional, as they were in the original books. Spellcasting is very different from other games in the genre. The character must require certain skills and feats to be able to use magic system. You will not believe how spellcasting is fun to do. You must be very focused in whatever you are doing, because it can be dangerous sometimes. But, you will never be disappointed if you play the game. It will give you hours and hours of fun.

There are 3 "mage" classes in AoC, necromancer, herald of xotli, demonologist,
Yes, they DID take out the Lich class
