So I'm looking at this Demonologist class (prestige class, archetype, whatever it's called in this game), and the description says it's got a demon for a pet. What's that mean, exactly? Is it, like, just an imp familiar, a little demonic-looking bird-man thing, or is it a real demon, as in a huge fiery clawed killing machine? Option 1 sucks, and option 2 sounds cool but maybe overpowering.

Well, I'm pretty sure it's more like option two than option one. Whether it's overpowered or not I don't know, but I wouldn't say so. It's just a pet class, and one with a single pet too. These kinds of classes are usually easier to balance out than most, IMX.
