Age of Conan Creating characters

I know next to nothing about this game. I think that I should start learning about it from how the game starts – the character creation. Could anyone tell me more about it: which races can I choose between, which classes are there available, how much can I customize my appearance?

In Age of Conan, you will be starting out as a commoner ( a feature I really like) of either Cimmerian, Aquilonian or Stygian origin. At the level five you can choose between four archetypes: Mage, Rogue, Priest or Soldier. Later, at the level 20, you’ll be able to specify your class more. As for appearance, it seems that you’ll be able to customize it to an unbelievable extent since there will be about 40 different buttons and sliders for it.
