So I took Realpoors advice and ordered a computer from www.cyberpowersystem.com
1) It was supposed to ship in 5 to 10 business days. It shipped a month and a half after I ordered it.
2) Not shit was plugged in in the computer. The Hard drive was dangling around. Since they didnt attach the Hard drive to anything, it shook around during shipment and f****d everything inside the computer up, so its defective now.
3) Trying to call their customer support, their line is busy. -Busy-. What the f**k? This is the year 2004 and a company does not have call waiting, or anything? Not even a message saying "Call back later"? Its busy? WTF??
I hate realpoor, so very very much.

According to Resellerratings.com, they score an average of 6.43 out of 10.0 in customer satisfaction. Note they're listed as cyberpowerinc.com, but it's the same company (both names go to the same web page). Anyway, they got:
7.67 for price
6.05 for likelihood of future purchace
5.79 for shipping/packaging
4.80 for customer service
4.50 for return/replacement
If you don't consider price, the average drops to 5.28 out of 10.0: not too impressive. Well below average in fact.
The top customer comment (from 6 days ago, was that you?) reads: | Quote: | My system arrived Dead On Arrival. The help line staffers were completely inept(and weren't fluent in English), I was hung up on by a company representative when I requested a refund or free shipping on a replacement system, and the company actually refused to pay for the shipping cost to send the nonfunctional system back. I ended up having to put a chargeback on the system since I didn't get a refund for quite awhile after sending it back.
I would warn any prospective customer to stay far, far away. Cyberpower PC put on a truly impressive display of incompetence. |

i have been using newegg for years
and my current machine, totally purchased from newegg = uber
and d*****s me bought ram that wasn't supported on my mobo, so they said no prob, just ship it back, we're already sending out the right stuff..etc and paco=happy camper

I have a local place that has fairly competetive rates on stuff, I could get cheaper online but then I gotta wait for it + shipping costs etc.

I found the best possible deal for a barebone from cyberpower, as well as order my dad's computer from there for an excellent price. Both arrived on time and in working condition.
