In EQ I used to sit around EC buying low selling high making a few hundred grand plat a day and selling it. I quit when I started college but im really low on money now and jobs just arent for me im curious about if its possible to make lots of money in SWG the same way. Is there a certain area where people buy and sell items and is it possible to make lots of $$$ playing the game doing that?

I used to kill krayt dragons.... made about 5 million credits if i got good drops for a couple hours work. That got boring now i just kill people in pvp.

you can kill either krayt dragons or nightsisters.. but in short no you can't make money "buying low and selling high" because everyone one and their mother has a master artisan in their PA that supplies them with what they need.
The only big money I see right now is in selling pets and mounts and jedi/sith holocrons.. but if you don't have time for missions then you definitely wouldn't have time to sit there and train and raise animals....
Also.. krayt dragons, nightsisters and holocrons are perma camped so I really don't see much hope in this direction... you will be at it a million times longer than any mission.
how could you not have time to do missions? They take like 10 minutes TOPS

Holocrons are going for $50.
Jedi accounts for sale are getting perma-banned.
There's a few people making high end items....trying to corner the market on them, selling them for lots of credits, then selling credits on Ebay.
The problem is.....regular weapons/items are just fine for 95% of the players. There is also a definate lack of addiction within the game. So...items and accounts are not selling for what EQ items sold for. Geeze, I remember seeing Naga and Vox loot going for $1000 easy, in the good old days.
