After a couple of dozen of expansion packs, and the latest pack to be released in November (Rise of Kunark), I think it is a time for new Everquest, Everquest III. EQ2 is a very good game, but I think they should make a new game, with new engine and preferably better PvP. Is there any chance this will happen?

There is no any news from SOE about this. Personally, I think Sony is focused to SW and Vanguard, and I don’t think they will make Everquest sequel, at least not before 2009. The reason for this is that EQ2 still has a big population, and is playable even on some older systems, so I don’t think we need a sequel.
