Thursday, 6 March 2003
To my friends,
I have decided to quit Everquest.
I have come to realise, that EQ has provided me with a convenient way to forget about my troubles, but also, to not deal with them. This inaction has generated more problems, and therefore I have spent more and more time in front of a PC instead of confronting these problems as they come.
Unfortunately this has caused my wife and I to drift apart, and I realise now that I may loose the only woman I have truly loved, to a bunch of pixels and my own inability or unwillingness to deal with reality.
I thank you all for the fun times, the late nights, the laughs, but most of all the friendship and support you have given me over the last few years.
I will miss you all,

i knew a girl on the drinal server whos husband left her because of EQ. He deleated her charicters changed passwords/user info and canceled her acount, then threw her PC out the window . She was back with a new PC and a level 1 in just a few days.................
